SPLENDID CEASED PUBLICATION ON 12/31/2005 (CLICK FOR DETAILS). It doesn't look like we're coming back, either, so please stop sending us music, okay? Enjoy some randomly selected reviews from our archives.
SPLENDID is a daily online music magazine for people with a voracious appetite for new music. Our focus is on independently-released material, and we review everything we receive. You'll find a wide variety here: punk, folk, world music, indie rock, electronic music, country, jazz, electroacoustic experiments, home-recorded CDRs and a whole lot of stuff that resists classification. The site is UPDATED DAILY with new music reviews (complete with audio clips), interviews, articles and full-length streaming audio tracks. After more than eight years, we have a MASSIVE archive -- more than 15,000 reviews. Enjoy.
